Remove/install

Remove the top trim of the door sill.

 Pry off below seal with assembly wedge. The upper door entrance paneling is fastened with Velcro fastener (2).

 Long wedge

Remove the A-pillar trim (1).

 Pry off below seal with assembly wedge. The A-pillar trim (1) is fastened with velcro fasteners (2).

 Installation: The seal must be seated correctly in the A-pillar trim (1).

Remove the screws (4).

 Installation: Use new self-locking bolts (4).

 Bolt, holding splinter guard to A-pillar

Remove splinter protection and steel cover (3) from A-pillar.

Install in reverse order.
