Notes on carrying out repair work in the vehicle interior

Remove/install

1

Remove roof air conditioning parts in passenger compartment until rear headliner (1) can be removed

with CODE PJ6 (AIRCON BUS package)

 Remove and install roof air conditioning according to manufacturer's specifications.

Remove screw/bolts (2)

without CODE PJ6 (AIRCON BUS package)

Remove roof ventilator flap (3)

Remove support rod from roof

with CODE UZ2 (MRT bus, 17+1-seater with center aisle)

with CODE UZ3 (MRT bus, 20+1-seater with center aisle)

Unclip caps (4) from bolts (5)

 The number of bolts (5) is dependent on the vehicle version.

Remove bolts (5)

 Helper required to hold rear headliner (1).

Lower headliner (1) with aid of helper until electrical connector on rear interior lamp (E70) is accessible

Disconnect electrical connector from rear interior lamp (E70)

 Helper required to hold rear headliner (1).

Remove rear headliner (1) toward rear from vehicle with aid of helper

Remove rear interior lamp (E70) from rear headliner (1)

When replacing rear headliner (1).

Install in the reverse order
