Move front seat and seat backrest of front seat to front-most position

Remove tie-down eye (8) from B-pillar

 Screw, tie-down eye to B-pillar

Unclip B-pillar trim (4) from top to bottom

 Installation: Insert actuator (12) into seat belt height adjuster (13).
Position sealing frame (9) correctly on B-pillar trim (4).

Disconnect electrical connector for switch (11)

Remove B-pillar trim (4) from B-pillar and thread seat belt (6) with seat belt end fitting (5) through seat belt opening

Installation: When replacing the B-pillar trim (4), drill 2 holes on the basis of the existing markings (15).



Check

Check retaining clips (14) for damage and correct fit

If retaining clip (14) is damaged.



Replace retaining clip (14).

If retaining clip (14) is not correctly positioned in mount on B-pillar trim (4).



Position retaining clip (14) correctly.

Install in the reverse order



Perform function check of seat belt height adjuster (13)
