Safety relevant

 The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be accomplished analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

1	Install outer rear wheel well (1), upper rear side reinforcement (2) and lower rear side reinforcement (3), fit with straightening tool and rear fender and fix in place.

2	Drill Ø 6.5 mm rivet holes (areas B, C).

3	Drill rivet holes with Ø 8.2 mm bit (area A).

4	Remove straightening tool and fender.

5	Remove outer rear wheel well (1), upper rear side reinforcement (2) and lower rear side reinforcement (3).

6	Deburr holes in body, on outer rear wheel well (1), upper rear side reinforcement (2) and lower rear side reinforcement (3) on both sides.

7	Apply 2-component adhesive to crosshatched area.

 Observe manufacturer's specification for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.

8	Install outer rear wheel well (1) and upper rear side reinforcement (2), fit and fix in place.

9	Rivet outer rear wheel well (1) and upper rear side reinforcement (2) with 6.514.5 mm blind rivets (areas E, F).

10	Rivet outer rear wheel well (1) and upper rear side reinforcement (2) with 6.512.5 mm blind rivets (areas D).

11	Rivet outer rear wheel well (1) and upper rear side reinforcement (2) with flow form rivets (areas N).

 Rivet flow form rivet (S38) with a clamping range of 4.0 mm to 5.15 mm in area (N).

12	Rivet outer rear wheel well (1) and upper rear side reinforcement (2) with flow form rivets (areas G, M).

 Use flow form rivets (S3) with a clamping range of 4.0 to 5.15 mm in areas (G, M).

13	Rivet outer rear wheel well (1) and upper rear side reinforcement (2) with flow form rivets (areas H, J).

 Use flow drill rivets (S58) with a clamping range of 6.0 to 7.2 mm in areas (H, J).

14	Rivet outer rear wheel well (1) and upper rear side reinforcement (2) with flow form rivets (areas K, L).

 Use flow drill rivets (S4) with a clamping range of 5.0 mm to 6.1 mm in areas (K, L).

15	Install lower rear side reinforcement (3), fit and fix in place.

16	Rivet lower rear side reinforcement (3) with flow form rivets (areas O, P, Q, R).

 Use flow drill rivets (S2) with a clamping range of 3.35 to 4.1 mm in areas (O, P, Q, R).

17	Apply sealant to outer rear wheel well (1) (area S) using brush or putty.
