1

Install straightening bench (1)

The assembly instructions can be found in the Celette assembly plan.

2

Attach module longitudinal member left (2), module longitudinal member right (3) and module members (4) left and right to the straightening bench (1)

The number and position of the module members (4) and the position of the module longitudinal member left (2) and the module longitudinal member right (3) depends on the Celette assembly plan. The straightening bench (1) is divided into index fields in the longitudinal direction. The index fields are marked with numbers (arrows) on the lateral straightening bench flange.
For parallel alignment of the module longitudinal member left (2) and module longitudinal member right (3), use the assembly strips (5).

3

Attach two anchoring attachments (7) to the left and right on the straightening bench (1)

The anchoring attachments (7) are mounted on the straightening bench (1) in such a way that they float.
Ensure that the anchoring attachments (7) are attached in such a way that the weight of the body is optimally distributed.

4

Assemble the MZ mounts, in accordance with the damage progression, on the module longitudinal member left (2), module longitudinal member right (3) and module members (4)

To align the body, two measuring points must be set up on the left and right of the body in the non-deformed area.
The assembly instructions can be found in the Celette assembly plan included with the straightening set.

5

Assemble and set up measuring points on the left and right of the MZ mounts

Measuring points that prevent the body from being placed in position are only assembled and set up later on.
The assembly and set-up instructions can be found in the Celette assembly plan included with the straightening set.

Danger

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

6

Lift the body with the vehicle lift and align the straightening bench (1) beneath it using the measuring points that have been set up

7

Align the anchoring attachments (7) with the lift support points on the longitudinal member outer shell of the body

8

Lower the body with the vehicle lift, position it in the anchoring attachments (7) and place the steel clamping jaws of the anchoring attachments (7) in position

Ensure that the body has been firmly clamped in the steel clamping jaws of the anchoring attachments (7).
Otherwise, it may be torn out during straightening procedures.

9

Assemble and set up measuring points that have not yet been set up on the left and right of the MZ mounts

The assembly and set-up instructions can be found in the Celette assembly plan included with the straightening set.

Check

10

Compare the position of the measuring points with the drive points on the body, read off the measurement values on the relevant scales and compare them against the Celette assembly plan

11

Check the entire body for offset

Straightening

12

Remove measuring points in the deformation area from the body

13

Assemble the straightening equipment (6) on the straightening bench (1)

The assembly instructions can be found in the Celette assembly plan.

14

Revert the body to its original form with the straightening equipment (6)

15

Approach the measuring points in the deformation area and set them up

The set-up instructions can be found in the Celette assembly plan included with the straightening set.

Check

16

Compare the position of the measuring points with the drive points on the body, read off the measurement values on the relevant scales and compare them against the Celette assembly plan

If necessary, repeat the straightening procedure and subsequent test procedure.

17

Dismantle the straightening bench (1) in reverse order

18

Rectify all paintwork damage on the body in the area of the measuring points and anchoring attachments (7)
