Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove platform.

Remove rear dropside.

Remove fuel filler flap.

If left side of vehicle is damaged.

Remove fuel filler flap of the NOx reducing agent tank.

If right side of vehicle is damaged.

Remove 12 V socket from the dropside.

Remove respective rear lamp unit.

Remove corresponding side and front tie-down rail from the platform.

 For this purpose, remove screws (10).

Remove rear window protective grille.

Remove corresponding latch striker from the dropside.

Remove corresponding seals (1a, 1b).

Remove cover (2).

 To do this, remove screws/bolts (3).

Remove cover (4).

 To do this, remove expansion rivets (5).

 Installation: Check expansion rivet (5) for damage.

In the case of a corresponding finding,



Replace damaged expansion rivets (5).

Remove corresponding grommets (6).

Remove corresponding stop buffer (7).

Remove screw (8).

Install in the reverse order.
