Disassembling

Danger!

Risk of injury with burns to skin and eyes, risk of poisoning from inhaling fumes when working with shrink hoses.

Work only in well ventilated rooms. Wear safety glasses with side protection and protective glove.

Remove front bumper

Remove battery

Remove battery recess

Disconnect frame wiring harness (1) at front consuming points

Disconnect front frame wiring harness (1) at an easily accessible place below the battery tray

Use cable shears to cut cables. Always cut the individual cables at the parting point to different lengths.

Unclip cable straps and remove old frame wiring harness (1)



Assembling

Connect new frame wiring harness (1) to the front consumer points, route to below the battery recess and attach with cable strap

Repair wiring harness using cable connectors

 Use only cable connectors with shrink-fit hose. Select cable connectors to match the cable cross sectcion. Ensure that insulation is of same color when connecting cables.
