1 | Raise vehicle with lifting platform | ||
2 | Unscrew nut (1) and take off bracket (2). | ||
3 | Detach left rear muffler (160a) from center muffler (159) by loosening hose clamp (3) | ||
4 | Dismount center muffler (159) from front exhaust system (4), for this step unscrew bolts (5) | ||
5 | Unhook and remove center muffler (159) with right rear muffler (160b) from exhaust rubber mounts (7) | Clean connecting points of combustion and corrosion residues. Replace gasket (6) and bolts (5). | |
If necessary, use lubricant. | |||

6 | Check the exhaust rubber mount (7) for wear and damage. Replace if required. | ||
| Install | ||
7 | Fix the right rear muffler (160b) with the center muffler (159) in the exhaust rubber mount (7) | ||
8 | Loosely screw down center muffler (159) and front exhaust system (4) with each other | ||
9 | Mount left rear muffler (160a) loosely at center muffler (159) using a hose clamp (3) | ||
10 | Loosely screw on the left and the right rear mufflers (160a, 160b) with a bracket (2) and nut (1) | ||
11 | Align the center muffler (159) with the right rear muffler (160b) and tighten the bolts (5) | | |
12 | Align left rear muffler (160a) and tighten hose clamp (3) | | |
13 | Tighten nut (1) | | |

14 | Inspect installation position and clearance of exhaust system | The exhaust system must be mounted free of tension, align exhaust system if required. | |
