7 | Remove power steering motor (M19) | Ensure that no contamination enters the power steering motor (7) bracket on the rack-and-pinion steering (4). | |

8 | Grease sealing ring (6) | Sealing ring (6) must be replaced. | |
Use a suitable lubricant to make installation of sealing ring (6) easier. | |||
9 | Insert power steering motor (M19) into rack-and-pinion steering (4) | Ensure scrupulous cleanliness. | |
Carefully insert power steering motor (M19) into rack-and-pinion steering (4). | |||
Pay attention to gearing. | |||
10 | Screw in bolts (5) connecting power steering motor (M19) to rack-and-pinion steering (4) | | |
11 | Connect electrical connector (1) and electrical connector (2) | Ensure that the connectors latch properly. | |
12 | Provide cable tie (3) | The lines must be routed and fastened in such a way to prevent damage and noise from vibrations. | |
13 | Install underbody paneling | ||
