Check

1

The engine can be started with the steering axle jacked up when the steering system is filled with oil so that the oil level no longer falls below the lower marking on the oil reservoir when the engine is turned on

2

Allow the engine to run for some time at low speed, thus allowing most of the air to escape from the cylinder. Observer the oil level during this process. Immediately top up if the oil level falls low.

3

Turn the wheels slowly towards extreme right and extreme left for ensuring the proper escape of air

This procedure needs to be repeated approximately 8 times to ensure escape of air.

When the above Instructions have been observed the oil level in the oil container must not rise higher than approximately 1 to 2 cm, when the engine is switched off.

4

Switch off engine

5

Ensure steering system is aligned to SAP.
