Bleeding

1

Mark fluid level in expansion reservoir (2) with a adhesive strip (e.g.  insulation tape).

If the expansion reservoir (2) is filled above the current level after bleeding the brake fluid, it can, for  example, overflow when replacing the brakepads.
This can lead to malfunctions and damage.

The fluid level in the expansion reservoir (2) is also an indicator for the wear of the brakepads. No brakepad wear sensors are installed on the brakepads.

2
