Bleed primary circuit | |||
6 | Remove dust cap from brake bleeder valve (5), connect hose of brake fluid receptacle to brake bleeder valve (5) of right rear brake caliper (4) and open brake bleeder valve (5). Then have a second person depress brake pedal several times and close brake bleeder valve (5) again. | Only close the brake bleeder valve (5) when brake fluid is discharged free of bubbles and without contamination (the brake fluid must be light in color).
| |||
7 | Carry out bleeding process on left rear brake caliper (4), right rear brake caliper (3) and left front brake caliper (3) in the same way | Observe correct sequence.
| |||
| |||
Bleed secondary circuit
8 | Actuate hydraulic unit with STAR DIAGNOSIS | Assistant required as the brake pedal must be pressed every 15 seconds. By actuating the hydraulic unit in addition the secondary circuit of the brake system is bled.
