Determining specified caster value with nomogram

Nomogram for determining specified caster value

2

Subtract dimension "A" from dimension "B" and mark the resulting dimension "C" on the corresponding straight lines on the nomogram for the wheelbase and read off the specified value for the level.

Example:
Vehicle with wheelbase 3550 mm (e):
- Dimension "A" = 360 mm
- Dimension "B" = 505 mm
Dimension "A" = 360 mm is subtracted from dimension "B" = 505 mm. This yields the result for dimension "C" = 145 mm.
An entered dimension "C" in the nomogram results in a specified caster value of 0° 28'.
