The measurement procedure of the caster depends on the equipment. Consult the operation manual of its equipment to be used

Position the projector (5) on its support (4)

Turn the wheel to the left on the rotating plate (6) by angle (a)
A = 20°

Put the projector (5) in the horizontal in the longitudinal direction and tighten the butterfly screw (16)

Turn the rotating button (29) until level (30) is centered

Read the value indicated on the dial ring for caster measurement (32)
For example: 4°
The scale disc to measure the caster (32) is divided into the following measuring fields: "Positive caster" and "negative caster". The "positive caster" measuring range is 0 to +15°. The "negative caster" measuring range is 0 to -3°. One division on the scaled disc represents 10'.

Record the measuring value on the alignment form

Put the dial ring of measurement (32) at 0 scale to measurement later

Turn the wheel to the right on the rotating plate (6) by angle (a)
A 20°

Repeat the same procedure for work steps 3, 4, 5, and 6
If the nominal values are not reached:
Adjust the caster.

Repeat the same procedure for work steps 1 to 11 on the other wheel of the front axle

Support the front axle to prevent falling

Loose and remove the nuts (1) and spring clamps (3)

Lift and support the chassis frame and lock it in a suitable way

Remove wedge (2) and replace it for another one which meets the needs of the described caster
Wedges with different angles are available

Lower the chassis frame
Make sure the pin fits correctly into the hole of the wedge
