Secure vehicle with chocks to prevent it from rolling.

Mechanically lock interwheel differential lock of rear axle.

Remove screws (3) of rear axle shaft (1).

Remove rear axle shaft (1) from wheel hub (2).

Install

Clean sealing surfaces on wheel hub (2) and on rear axle shaft (1).

Apply coating of sealant to sealing surface on wheel hub (2).

Insert rear axle shaft (1) into wheel hub (2).

Screw screws (3) of rear axle shaft (1) into wheel hub (2) and tighten in crosswise pattern.

Bolt, rear axle shaft to wheel hub

Mechanically unlock interwheel differential lock of rear axle.

Remove chocks.
