Pressing in

3 Press rear axle shaft into rear axle differential until the retaining ring (37g) noticeably engages.

Position joint ring horizontally so that the splined profile is not tilted when inserted. When pressing the rear axle shaft into the rear axle center assembly, do not damage the radial sealing ring. The joint ring must close flush with the rear axle housing.
