	Removing
1	Remove both rear axle shafts (8)		AR35.30-D-0620C
2	Drain oil at rear axle center assembly		AP35.00-D-3501A
3	Remove propeller shaft at joint flange (4)
4	Spin join flange (4) by hand and check axial play of bearing	 The axial bearing must have no play! If there is play or if there are particles (shavings) in the drained oil, replace the gear set and the bearing in the rear axle center assembly: 
		Remove drive pinion and crown wheel with differential.	AR35.30-D-4815D
5	Determine and note friction torque		*001589492100
6	Remove joint flange at drive pinion	Check radial sealing ring on joint flange and replace joint flange if necessary.	AR35.30-D-4670-01B

8	Clean teeth on joint flange and shaft	Loctite 7200	*BR00.45-Z-1038-04A
	Install
9	Install radial sealing ring (5)		AR35.30-D-4670-02B

10	Install joint flange at drive pinion	 Tighten joint flange with new collar nut and increase friction torque previously measured by 0.5 Nm.	AR35.30-D-4670-03C

		Loctite sealant 565	*BR00.45-Z-1045-01A
		 Never correct friction coefficient by turning back the collar nut. If the permissible friction coefficient is exceeded, the compression ring must be replaced because it has already been compressed too much: 
