Remove the longitudinal differential with the cover

Remover the bolts (1)

Remove the ring gear with differential

Remove the balancer set (2) case from the differential support (4) case

Use a plastic hammer.

Remove the balancer washer (3)

Install

Install the balancer set (2) case in the differential support (4) case with the balancer washer (3)

Use a sealing product on the contact surfaces of the differential support balancer set case (4). Install the balancer washer so that the lubrication oil duct remains free.

Determine measure “A”

Measure, with a depth gauge, the “A” basic measure from the center of the bearing to the pinion front surface and compare it to the basic measure engraved in the pinion or the ring gear.

If the "A" basic measure is outside specifications, remove the balancer set case again and add or remove balancer washers (3), as necessary, to adjust the basic measure according to the indication engraved in the ring gear or the pinion.
