Unmount and mount | |||
1 | Remove the crown with the differential |

2 | Remove the bearing race (1) | ||
3 | Remove the bolts (3) that attach the ring gear (5) to the bell hub cap (4) | Mark the cap position (4) with the ring gear (5) and the bell hub (23) before disassembling. | |
Install beforehand the assembly on an appropriate device. | |||
Assembly: Apply chemical lock on the bolt threads. | |||

4 | Remove the bell hub cap (4), tapping on it with a brass pin | Assembly: Match the assembling position between the hub cap, the ring gear and the bell hub. | |
5 | Remove the planetary gear case with the sun gears (12) | Utilize an appropriate device for removal. | |
6 | Remove the ring gear (5) from the bell hub (23), tapping on its internal part with a brass pin | Do not strike against the ring gear teeth. | |
Assembly: Position the ring gear in the drilling with two guide pins. | |||
7 | Remove the thrust washer (20) from the bell hub (23) | ||
8 | Remove the taper roller bearings (2) and (24) | Remove the bell hub bearing (24), through the holes located on its internal race. | |

9 | Remove the attachment bolts (22) and separate the two halves of the satellite box (12) and (19) | Before, secure the planetary gear case in an appropriate way. | |
Mark the assembling position in the two halves of the box (12) and (19). | |||
Assembly: Apply chemical lock on the bolt threads. | |||

10 | Remove the thrust washer (13) and the planetary gear (long hub) (15) | Assembly: Install the planetary gear (15) at the satellites box cover side (19). | |
11 | Remove the differential spider (16), the planetary gears (17) and the spherical washers (18) | Assembly: Keep the original position. | |
12 | Remove the planetary gear (short hub ) (14) and the thrust washer (13) | Assembly: Install the planetary gear (14) at the planetary box side (12). | |
13 | Introduce it with soft hits the a pin against the blocking pins (7) e and remove the planetary gear shafts (6) | Avoid that the pin is inserted farther than necessary in order not to damage the support eyelet. | |
14 | Remove the planetary gears shafts (6), the planetary gears (9), the internal and external washers (8) and disassemble them | Keep individualizes each set composed of axle (6), gear (9), rollers (10), thrust washers (8) and intermediate washers (11). | |
Assembly: Lubricate the rollers with grease. | |||

15 | Assemble in the reverse order | Oil the components at assembly. | |
