Remove/install radial seal at drive pinion gear

Remove/install

Remove left or right rear axle shaft

Remove propeller shaft

AR41.10-A-0050LA

Unscrew collar nut (1)

 No impact wrench/driver may be used to remove/install the collar nut (1) otherwise the bearing or gear set may be damaged.

 Installation: Clean thread and coat with thread locking compound.

Remove drive flange (2)



Remove radial sealing ring (3)

 Installation: Replace radial sealing ring (3).

Coat outer surface with sealant

Coat sealing lip with oil.



Install in the reverse order

Check oil level in the rear axle, correct if necessary



Rear axle - check fluid level, adjust to correct level
