Disconnect rpm sensor connectors (X62/19) and brake pad contact sensor (S10/1x1) in major assembly compartment

 Model 202

Pull cable set of front axle out through the wheel arch.

Disconnect rpm sensor connectors and brake pad contact sensor in wheel arch

 Model 170, 208

 Danger!

Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury caused by brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes.

Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Unscrew brake hose (39) from brake line (40)

Protect lines against contamination

 Installation:  The brake hose must not be twisted after tightening.

Open double end box wrench, WAF 8x9 mm or WAF 10x11 mm

Remove upper transverse control arm

Install in the reverse order

 Installation

Replace self-locking nuts and bolts.

Tighten securing nuts when vehicle in ready-for-the-road condition
