1 Remove screw plug (1) and remove sealing ring (2).
2 Screw bolt M830 (3) instead of screw plug into shift rod of differential lock until shift fork has pulled sliding sleeve over gearing of input shaft.

3 Coat sealing surface of housing rear section (2) with sealant.
4 Place housing front section (1) on housing rear section (2) such that shift rods and shift piston locate in holes without canting (arrows).
Turn the coupling flange to the front axle back and forth until the gears mesh.
5 Bolt housing front section (1) and housing rear section (2) together .

6 Unscrew bolt M830 (3) from shift rod of differential lock and screw in screw plug (1) with sealing ring (2) .
