	Assemble
1	Clean sealing surface on front section of housing (2) and rear section of housing (16)
2	Check axial play of output shaft at ring gear		AR28.50-W-1016-02A

3	Install bearing outer races (19, 20) on rear section of housing (16)	 Install bearing outer races flush with inside of housing Use a suitable drift.
4	Insert countershaft (11) in the housing rear part (16)
5	Install oil scraper (14)	 Put on oil scraper with new locking plate (13) and screw in bolts (12) finger-tight. Align oil wiper with ring gear, tighten and secure bolts.

6	Insert planet carrier (15) in the ring gear of the output shaft
7	Install O-ring (3) in the shift rod (4)
8	Push shift fork (5) and push spring (6) onto the shift rod (4)
9	Insert shift fork (5) with shift rod (4) into sliding sleeve of input shaft (8)
10	Install input shaft (8) in housing rear section (16)	 Hold push spring (6) in the installation position and ensure that the shift rod (4) slides in the bore without binding.
11	Install bearing outer race (7)		*304589033900
12	Install bearing outer race (10)	 Use a suitable drift.
13	Install front section of housing (2) at rear section of housing (16)	 Coat sealant on the sealing surface of the rear section of the housing.	*BR00.45-Z-1015-01A

14	Insert radial sealing ring (1) and install transfer case flange to the manual transmission		AR28.40-D-0001A
15	Install shift cylinder on housing front part (2)		AR28.60-D-1001A
16	Check and adjust axial play of input shaft and countershaft		AR28.50-D-1018-02A
