Remove transmission

Attach transmission to assembly device

Remove rear transmission housing

Pull out oil guide tube (3)

 Installation: Check oil guide tube (3) for damage, replace if necessary.

Remove shift rail guide from front transmission housing

Remove shift forks and shift rails

Install separator (1) under inner race of tapered roller bearing of countershaft (4)



Bolt crossbar (2) to the mainshaft (5) with the stretch bolt (7) of the output flange

 Use stretch bolt (7) of output flange or a commercially available bolt M20X1,5 with shim.



Connect separator (1) and crossmember (2) using spindle



Lift countershaft (4), main shaft (5) and 5th and 6th gear shift fork (6) out of front transmission housing together

 Installation: Carefully insert countershaft (4) and main shaft (5), so that the radial sealing ring and oil scraper ring are not damaged.

Install in the reverse order
