Remove

Disassemble the gearbox

 Let the gearbox rear housing with the shafts and the drive bars in the assembling device under pressure after having separated the two gearbox's housings.

Remove the pilot bearing (2) of the gearbox main shaft

Remove the synchronizing cone (3) and the synchronizing ring (4) from the 4th gear

Remove the reverse gear axle (9) with the gear

Remove the main shaft (5), from the control rails (6) and the counter shaft (10)



Fit the gearbox rear housing on the assembling device under pressure

Adjust the counter shaft axial play

Remove the external track from the taper roller bearing (8) in the gearbox rear housing with the internal puller and put it on the corresponding bearing in the counter shaft

 Only with CODE (N05/N07) and in the case replacing the taper roller bearing in the gearbox rear housing, the counter shaft or a the counter shaft component of the power take-off.



Adjust the counter shaft axial play

 Only with CODE (N05/N07) and in the case replacing the taper roller bearing in the gearbox rear housing, the counter shaft or a the counter shaft component of the power take-off.

Install the external track from the taper roller bearing (8) in the gearbox rear housing



Install the control rails

 The cuts (arrow B) in the central profiles of the control rails must be aligned. The deepest part of the parts with oblong holes stamped (arrow A) must be pointed to outside. The central rail does not have any hole stamped.

Fit the control rails (6) in the correct position in the main shaft sliding sleeves (5)

Install the main shaft with the control rails and the counter shaft in the gearbox rear housing

Install the reverse gear axle (9) with the gear

Install the synchronizing cone (3) and the synchronizing ring (4) of the 4th gear

Assemble the gearbox
