Remove

Unlock the lock plate (2), release and remove the bolts (11), remove the guide plate (10) and the flange (1)

 Engage two gears simultaneously, in order to lock the flange.

Remove the switch (3), the reverse gear positioner (4) and the speedometer axle (5)

 Boxes 718.79; unlock the speedometer axle before removing it, releasing the counter-nut (13) and the bolt (12).

Remove the pivot bolts from the shifting forks

Remove the main and counter shafts

 Hold the reverse gear, 1st and 2nd gear drive hods so that they do not fall during the removal, a wire can be used for this.

 Hold the special tool at the main shaft end and remove it with a lift device.

 Install the fork of the reverse gear, 1st and 2nd gears, observing the reverse gear fork fitting in the housing bottom

Assemble the 1st and 2nd speed fork drive hod

Assemble the drive worm (9) of the speedometer axle and the main shaft retainer (8)

Assemble the coupling flange (1), the guide plate (10) and the lock plate (2) of the attachment bolts of the flange (11)

 Heat the flange at 120 °C.
