Remove housing cover (20), take off shim (21)

Remove output flange (18)

Only with power take-off 123-10b.

 Counterhold output flange (18) with retainer wrench. Use puller in the event of sluggishness.

Detach housing cover (16) and remove shim (14)

Remove radial shaft sealing ring (17)

Only with power take-off 123-10b.

Unscrew screw/bolt (8.1)

Remove seal (9)

Unscrew power take-off 1 indicator switch (S23)

Detach housing cover (2)

 When installing new housing cover (2), also install new cylindrical pins.

Remove cylindrical roller bearing (1)

Only with transmission 715.35/37/38/5.

 If necessary, remove bushing (37).

Remove slide ring (31) and sealing ring (32) from piston with shift rod (33).

Push shift fork (35) to one side and remove control plunger (27)

Remove O-rings (28) from control plunger (27)

Detach circlip (12) from output shaft (6)

Only with power take-off 123-10c.

Drive out output shaft (5) using aluminum drift

With power take-off 123-10b

Remove shim (10) from output shaft (6)

Only with power take-off 123-10c.

Remove cylindrical roller bearing inner race (4) of output shaft (5 or 6)

Drive out input shaft (43) using aluminum drift

Disassemble drive shaft (43)

Drive out ball bearing (24) and centering ring (22) using suitable drift

Drive out ball bearing (11) and centering ring (13) using suitable drift

Unscrew screw plugs (26) and remove sealing rings

Remove oil pipe (7) from housing (8)
