4 | Remove the PTO case (13) | ||
5 | Remove from the PTO cover (1) the power output shaft (21) and the drive gear (5) with the input shaft (3) | ||
6 | Remove the ball bearing (10) | Utilize an appropriated puller. | |
7 | Remove the retaining snap-ring (9), the limiting washers (7) and the spring (8) | ||
8 | Remove the input shaft (3) from the drive gear (5) | ||
9 | Remove the taper roller bearings (4), (6), (20) and (22) from the respective shafts | ||
10 | Remove the taper roller bearings outside races (2), (11) and (23) | Inside puller for the races (11) and (23). | |

11 | Remove the compensating washer (12) from the PTO case (13) | ||
12 | Remove the taper roller bearing outside race (15) of the intermediate piece (18) and lift out the compensating washer (16) | Inside puller | |

13 | Install the taper roller bearings (4), (6), (24) and (26) in the respective shafts | Before installing the bearings heat-up the bearing inside races to approximately 80 °C. | |
14 | Install the intermediate part (18) with two nuts (19) in the case (13) | Utilize a new gasket (17). | |
15 | Calculate the thickness of the compensating washer (16) on the power output shaft (21) | ||
16 | Calculate the thickness of the compensating washer (12) on the drive gear (5) | ||

17 | Place a previously calculated compensating washer (12) in the PTO case (13) and install the outside race (11) of the bearing | ||
18 | Place the compensating washer (16) in the intermediate part (18) and install the bearing outside race (15) | ||
19 | Install the taper roller bearing outside races (2) and (23) | ||
20 | Install the input shaft (3) in the drive gear (5) | ||
21 | Install the limiting washers (7), the spring (8), the snap-ring (9) and the ball bearing (10) in the input shaft (3) | ||
22 | Install the power output shaft (21) and the input shaft (3) with the drive gear (5) in the gearbox cover (1) | ||
23 | Install the PTO case (13) | Apply sealing compound to the sealing surfaces. | |

25 | Install the power take-off | ||
26 | Install the hydraulic pump |
