1 | Remove the power take-off. | ||

4 | Remove the cover (18) and the shim (16). | Mark the assembly position of the cover onto the power take-off box. | |
5 | Remove the radial seal (19). | ||
6 | Remove the power take-off box (13). | ||
7 | Remove the transmission cover (1), power outlet shaft (25) and the drive pinion (5). | ||
8 | Remove spherical bearings (10). | Use an appropriate extractor. | |
9 | Remove the snap ring (9). | ||
10 | Remove the drive shaft (3) from the drive gear (5). | ||
11 | Remove the taper roller bearings (4), (6), (24) and (26). | ||

13 | Remove the shim (12) from power take-off box (13). | ||
| Assemble | ||
14 | Install the taper roller bearings (4), (6), (24) and (26). | Before installing the bearings heat-up the bearing inside races to approximately 80 °C. - Heat gun. | |
15 | Install radial seal (19) on cover (18). | Drift | |
16 | Put a sealing product on the external perimeter of radial seal whenever there is no rubber coated fitting part. | Loctite 5900 | |
17 | Lubricate sealing lips with multiple use lubricating grease. | Grease, DB supply specification 6804 - Class 267.0 | |
18 | Install the cover (18). | Use the new gasket (17). | |

21 | Place the shim (12) previously calculated in box (13) and install the tapered roller bearing outer race (11). | ||
22 | Place the shim (16) previously calculated on the cover (18) and install the tapered roller bearing outer race (15) | ||
23 | Assemble taper roller bearing external tracks (2) and (17). | ||
24 | Install the drive shaft (3) in drive pinion (5). | ||
25 | Install the lock ring (9) and taper roller bearing (10) on the drive shaft (3). | ||
26 | Install the power output tree (25) on the drive pinion (5) on the housing cover (1). | ||
27 | Remove the power take-off box (13). | Lubricate the contact surfaces with sealing product. | |
