Disassemble and assemble

Remove the main and counter shaft.

Remove the control rails guide plate (11).

Install: Before tightening the two bolts, press the guide plate totally down (arrow A).



Remove the breather (12) by using a lever.

Install: Replace the breather.

Remove the inductive transmitter box (2).

Remove the snap ring (9)

Install: Only if the rear housing of the gearbox is replaced, the main shaft bearing clearance must be adjusted

Adjust the main shaft clearance.

Remove the pressure of the main shaft bearing with a mandrel (8).

Install: Replace the main shaft bearing

Install: Put the main shaft bearing on the gearbox with an appropriate mandrel in such a way that the fastening guide pin is inserted in the gearbox groove (Arrows B and C).



Remove the filling and draining plugs (4) and (5).

 Replace the rings (3) and (6).



Remove the axial bearing of the control shaft

Disassemble the power takeoff

 Only for the gearboxes 711.620/ 622, with code N05 and N07.

Remove the bearing outer race (7)



Remove the closing plugs (14) and (15).

 Only for the gearboxes 711.620/ 622, with code N05 and N07.

 Replace the rings (13) and (16).
