Danger ! | Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. | Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
1 | Raise and secure dumper flatbed | MODEL 405.05/10/12/20/22
See owner's manual. | |||
2 | Lower pressure in the compressed-air system to 0 bar | Operate brake pedal several times.
3 | Remove battery compartment lid | MODEL 405.05/10/12/20/22
The pressure limiting valve (8) is located on the frame near the battery box.
4 | Remove cable ties (1) | MODEL 405.05/10/12/20/22
Installation: Replace cable tie (1). Do not tighten cable ties (1) too much to avoid pinching off the compressed air line (3).
5 | Detach compressed-air line (2) | Installation: Seal thread on fitting (9) using Teflon tape.
6 | Detach compressed air line (3) with connection fitting (4)
Installation: Seal thread on connection fitting (4) using Teflon tape.
7 | Detach compressed air line (5) with connection fitting (6) |
| |
Installation: Seal thread on connection fitting (6) using Teflon tape.
8 | Remove pressure limiting valve (8) | Installation: Transfer connection fitting (9) and connection piece (10) into new pressure limiting valve (8). Seal thread on connection fitting (9) and on connecting piece (10) using Teflon tape.
9 | Install in the reverse order
10 | Start engine and fill compressed-air system up to the cutoff pressure
11 | Check all connections for leaktightness
12 | Release and lower dumper flatbed | MODEL 405.05/10/12/20/22
See owner's manual. | |||
13 | Turn off engine | ||
