Removal, installation

Remove coolant pump

Place puller (14) against impeller (5), tension

Tension claws of puller (14) with sleeve, inner 40 mm (shop-made) or suitable hose strap

Pull off impeller (5)

If impeller (5) is tight, apply slight pressure to puller (14) when pulling off.

Pull off mating ring (3)

With pliers

Press out cassette-type seal (4)

Position screwdriver against circumference of cassette-type seal (4) to prise out of coolant pump (1).

Do not damage coolant pump (1); use clean rag as a base.

Install cassette-type seal (4)

Install in the reverse order

Check cooling system for leaks
