Remove/install

Remove washer fluid reservoir of windshield washer system and place to one side with lines connected.

Remove refrigerant compressor and place with lines attached

Vehicles with code (HH9) Regulated air conditioning, (Tempmatic)

Remove guide pulley on carrier with poly-V belt tensioning device

Vehicles without (HH9) Regulated air conditioning, (Tempmatic)

Remove wiring harness (3) on holder (2)

Detach electrical connector (1) from oil spray nozzle valve (Y127/1)

Unscrew oil spray nozzle valve (Y127/1)

 Collect escaping engine oil with rags.

 Installation: Install new sealing ring (4).



Install in the reverse order

Check engine oil level, correct if necessary

 The engine oil level must not lie above the maximum marking. Engine damage may occur otherwise.


