Remove/install

 Warning

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

 Install: Fill with coolant. refer to the operation instructions.

Unscrew the oil filter cap (6.3) from the oil filter housing (6)

 When pulling the oil filter cap (6.3) outwards, the engine oil flows back into the oil sump.

Create room in the oil/water heat exchanger area (1)

 When removing, detach hoses and electrical cables that hinder service.

Detach the oil pressure line (7) in the oil filter housing (6) and the turbocharger

 Collect any engine oil that flows out in an appropriate container. Cover the oil opening on the turbocharger.

Remove the threaded plug (12) on the heat exchanger (1) and drain the motor oil

 Collect any engine oil that flows out in an appropriate container.

 Install: Replace the sealing ring.

 Plug to the heat exchanger

Remove the oil/water heat exchanger (1) from the crankcase

 In a suitable container, collect the engine oil and the coolant that comes out.

Remove the gasket (2) on the water/oil heat exchanger (1)

 Install: Replace the gasket (2).

Remove the housing lid (1.2) on the heat exchanger water/oil (1.3)

 Install: Only tighten the screw (1.1) after fixing the water/oil heat exchanger (1) to the crankcase.

Remove the gasket (1.4) from the housing cover (1.2)

 Install: Replace the gasket (1.4).

Install in reverse order

Check the coolant level and adjust to correct the level
