Remove oil filter element (1)

Replace oil filter element, drain oil filter

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Lower engine with front axle carrier

Attach removal fixture for front axle carrier on front axle carrier

Remove bolts on both sides

Installation: First fit all the bolts, then tighten them fully.

Carefully lower front axle carrier with engine

Lower a maximum of 80 mm.

When lowering check for unobstructed movement of coolant hoses, air-conditioning hoses and electric cables, in order to avoid causing any damage.

Installation: Guides at the front axle carrier must be inserted into the holes in the longitudinal member.

Pay attention to guides at radiator.

Detach front axle carrier removal device from front axle carrier

Unscrew screw/bolts (4) and screw/bolt (6)

Screw/bolt for oil filter housing on crankcase

Lift coolant pipe (5) and push to one side. Remove oil filter housing (2) upwards

Installation: Replace gasket (3) for oil filter housing (2) on crankcase.
