8.01 Check valve

Y106 SCR air pressure limiter solenoid valve

 	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition	 Air lines have compressed air applied to them for up to 3 min after the engine by the EATS. It is only after this that work can be begun on the EATS.
2	Disconnect electrical connector (6) at SCR air pressure limiter solenoid valve (Y106)
3	Loosen air line (1) on the SCR compressed air limiting solenoid valve (Y106) by about two revolutions and let out the compressed air there, then subsequently remove the complete air line (1)	 Installation: Replace O-ring (2) on the air line (1).

4	Remove compressed air line (1) on check valve (8.01) connection fitting (3)	 Installation: Replace O-ring (2) on the air line (1).

5	Unscrew connection fitting (3) on check valve (8.01)		*BA14.40-N-1018-02E
6	Loosen nut (7) on connection fitting (8)		*BA14.40-N-1017-02E
7	Remove bolts (4) and SCR compressed air limiting solenoid valve (Y106) with check valve (8.01) and spacer (5)	 Hold nuts

	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
8	Unscrew SCR air pressure limiter solenoid valve (Y106) from connection fitting (8)
9	Install in the reverse order
 Danger!	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
10	Allow engine to run and fill compressed air system up to shutoff pressure then stop engine
11	Check SCR air pressure limiter solenoid valve (Y106) and check valve (8.01) for leaktightness
