1 | Detach hose for crankcase ventilation (4) | ||
2 | Unscrew bolt (1) and nuts (3) | ||
3 | Take off heat shield (2) | ||
4 | Detach clamp at charge air hose (5) | ||
5 | Cut open cable strap and detach charge air hose at mixing housing | Replace cable strap. | |
6 | Detach vacuum hose at EGR valve (arrow) | ||
7 | Slacken clamp (6) at EGR valve and clamp (7) at exhaust manifold | ||
8 | Unscrew bolt (8) and take off corrugated pipe together with fixture | Inspect corrugated pipe for damage, replace if necessary. Replace corrugated pipes without fixture at cylinder head in all cases with version with fixture. | |
9 | Remove mixing housing with EGR valve | ||

10 | Install mixing housing with EGR valve | It is essential to observe the correct order of operations. Ensure seal is correctly seated. | |

11 | Insert corrugated pipe at exhaust manifold | ||
12 | Align fixture of corrugated pipe to cylinder head | Install corrugated pipe free of stress. | |
13 | Tighten clamp (7) at exhaust manifold fully | | |
14 | Tighten bolt (8) at cylinder head fully | | |
15 | Tighten bolt (9) at corrugated pipe fully | | |
16 | Install heat shield (2) and attach with bolt (1) and nuts (3) | ||
17 | Install hose for crankcase ventilation (4) | ||
18 | Push on charge air hose (5) at mixing housing and attach with clamp | ||
19 | Attach cable with cable strap at charge air hose |
