Remove/install charge air temperature sensor

Remove/install

Detach oil filler neck (1)

 By unclipping oil filler neck (1).

Remove air filter housing

 Only partially remove air filter housing by pulling air filter housing out of its mounts and placing to one side. Do not disconnect electrical connector for hot film MAF sensor and do not remove intake pipe hose.

Remove bolt (2)

 Lay oil filler neck (1) with hose to one side.

Remove charge air temperature sensor (B17/9, B17/11) from charge air pipe

 Installation: Replace sealing ring.

Remove charge air temperature sensor (B17/9, B17/11)

 by disconnecting electrical connector at charge air temperature sensor (B17/9, B17/11).

Install in the reverse order
