Remove/Install

Remove air cleaner housing

Slacken clamps (1, 2)

Remove screws (3)

Replace bolts (3).

Pull vent hose (4) upward out of guide at transmission and remove

Installation: Ensure that the vent hose (4) is seated correctly

Pull charge air hoses out at charge air pipe (5) and remove charge air pipe (5)

Detach vacuum hoses (6, 7) at boost pressure control pressure transducer (Y31/5)

Unplug connector (8) from boost pressure control vacuum transducer (Y31/5).

Dismantle boost pressure control pressure transducer (Y31/5) at bracket (9)

Install in the reverse order

Read out fault memory

Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory
