The diesel particulate filter must be removed for this from the flange connection on ATL.

Detach/attach heat shield on turbocharger

Remove screw/bolt (1) .

Remove heat shield (2).


Installation: The heat shield (2) contains the seal of the flange connection; therefore remove heat shield (2).

Install in the reverse order.
