Remove

1

Remove the coolant feed line for the low-pressure exhaust gas turbocharger.

Remove the electrical line (2) from the boost pressure regulator (1).

Remove the retaining washer (3).

Remove screws/bolts (4).

Remove the boost pressure regulator (1) from the high-pressure exhaust gas turbocharger (5) so that the shift rail (6) can be removed and the electrical connector (7) can be disconnected.

Detach electrical connector (7).

Remove the shift rail (6) from the boost pressure regulator (1) and remove the boost pressure regulator (1) upward.

Remove the plain coupler (8).

Seal the opening in the high-pressure exhaust gas turbocharger (5) with suitable stop plugs.

Install

Remove the stop plugs from the opening in the high-pressure exhaust gas turbocharger (5).

Install the new plain coupler (8).

Attach the boost pressure regulator (1) to the shift rail (6).

Connect electrical connector (7).

Position the boost pressure regulator (1) on the high-pressure exhaust gas turbocharger (5).

15

Screw in new screws (4).

Install the new retaining washer (3).

Attach the electrical line (2) to the boost pressure regulator (1).

Attach the coolant feed line for the low-pressure exhaust gas turbocharger.
