Remove and install

Check the hoses and clamps, replace if necessary.

Risk of injury by trapping and crushing when tilting the cab

During back and forth cab tilting, stay away from tilting area and take preventive measures to avoid non-authorized people from entering tilting area. Always tilt the cab to its final position and secure it with the safety device.

Tilt the cab.

Remove the gas exhaust pipe (1).

Remove flexible pipe for air intake (2).

Remove supercharge air pipe (3).

Install: Replace the sealing ring.

Remove depression pipe (11).

Remove the oil pressure pipe (14) of the turbocharger (10).

Install: Prior to installing the pressure pipe, fill the turbocharger gallery with engine oil gallery. Replace the sealing ring (16).

Remove the return pipe (5) of the turbocharger (10).

Install: Replace the gasket (8).

Remove the bracket (12).

Remove the turbocharger (10).

Install in the reverse order.

Risk of accident by involuntary movement while engine is running. Risk of injury by crushing or burn in the contact during the start procedure with the engine running.

Secure the vehicle against unintended movement. Use closed and secure protective clothing. Do not touch heated or moving parts.

Check the tightness of the lubrication system.

The engine must be at operating temperature.
