Removing, installing

Remove fuel rail together with injectors, install

Remove hot film mass air flow sensor, install

AR07.07-P-1453E

Partially drain coolant

Separate plug connection of actuator (M16/1x1)

Fold locking arm up for this step

Unplug all the plug connections/sockets of the electrical components at the intake manifold

Detach vacuum hose of check valve

Detach coolan those (33/1) at rear lef tof intake manifold

Detach coolant hose (33) at front of intake manifold

Unscrew bolts (14, 15, 16)

Pay attention to different bolt lengths. Oil bolt threads with assembly oil. Tighten bolts according to tightening diagram:

Take off intake manifold (19)

Model 210 E 50 AMG, 129 SL 60 AMG: the intake cross sections of the top part of the intake manifold are enlarged.

Installation: fit on coolant hose (33).

Use straightedge for inspecting flange surfaces

If necessary, process on dressing plate, or:

replace intake manifold

Replace gaskets (18)

Install in the reverse order
