Remove/install

Remove air cleaner

Detach connector from intake manifold pressure sensor (B28)

Detach bracket (12) for oil dipstick guide tube from intake manifold (1)

Remove idle speed control actuator

Remove fuel distributor together with injectors.

Pull vacuum lines (11) out of intake manifold (1)

Detach vacuum line (10) for brake booster from the intake manifold (1)

Quick-release fitting

Pull vacuum line (9) out of intake manifold (1)

Detach intake manifold support (6) from the intake manifold (1)

Unscrew the screws (4) from the intake manifold

Installation: Be careful of varying bolt lengths (4) and brackets for purge valve.

Detach crankcase breather line (3) from the rear of the intake manifold (1)

Pull the intake manifold (1) slightly forward for easier disassembly.

Remove intake manifold (1) from the cylinder head


Installation: Replace fitted rubber gaskets (5) (4 pieces)

Installation in reverse order
