1 | Clean area around the fuel filler neck on fuel tank (5). |
2 | Open cap at fuel tank (5). |
3 | Clean engine in the area of screw plug (2) on fuel filter module (1). |
4 | Remove screw plug (2) on fuel filter module (1). |
5 | Attach adapter (3) with sealing ring to fuel filter module (1) . |
6 | Connect plug coupling (4.1) of hose (4.2) from "Outlet" connection of filling unit (4) to adapter (3). |
7 | Insert hose (4.3) from "Inlet" connection of filling unit (4) into fuel filler neck. |
If a filter screen is installed in the fuel filler neck, this must be removed. |
8 | Press on flap in fuel filler neck and insert hose (4.3) into fuel tank (5) until suction opening of hose (4.3) is below the fuel level. |
9 | Attach filling unit (4) to a power supply and switch on filling unit (4). |
Pay attention to manufacturer's operating instructions. |
10 | Observe pressure gauge (4.4) on filling unit (4). |
The filling unit (4) switches off automatically after reaching the maximum filling pressure (4.0 bar) and then on again after a short time. |
11 | Cut out filling unit (4) after a waiting time of about 30 s. |
12 | Start engine within about 5 s at the engine start and engine stop button; allow to run in neutral. |
If the engine does not run or does not achieve an increased engine speed, switch on the filling unit (4) and repeat the filling process. |
13 | Switch off engine. |
14 | Remove filling unit (4) and hoses (4.2, 4.3). |
15 | Remove adapter (3) on fuel filter module (1). |
