Set engine to TDC of cylinder 1 and block

Turn flywheel (1) or ring gear carrier with the turning device until the marking (arrow B) on flywheel or ring gear carrier (1) is in line with the index mark (arrow A) on flywheel housing (2).

Disconnect electrical connection (7) on crankshaft position sensor (B600).

Remove screw/bolt and take crankshaft position sensor (B600) out of the flywheel housing (2).

Insert drift (8) into the flywheel housing (2) and lock flywheel or ring gear carrier (1).


The pin in drift (8) must sit in the bore (arrow E) in the flywheel or ring gear carrier (1).
