Separate plug connection of vehicle wiring harness (3) at control unit (A6)

Separate plug connection of engine wiring harness (4) at MR/PLD control unit (A6)

Take off dipstick guide tube (9)

Unscrew bolts (6) at fuel heat exchanger (5) and swivel fuel heat exchanger (5) to the side

Only engine 904.904/908 up to engine end no. 033991.

The fuel lines remain connected at the fuel heat exchanger (5).

Take MR/PLD control unit (A6) off the crankcase

Install in the reverse order

Relearn transponder keys (also replacement keys)

Only if a new MR/PLD control unit (A6) is installed.
