Removing, installing

Open maintenance flap

Remove screw plug (5) from the injection pump and take off together with seal (4)



Collect oil which flows out in a suitable vessel

 Installing: replace seal, check engine oil level, adjust to correct level if necessary

Screw RI pulse generator (2) into the governor housing of the injection pump (1)



Connect TDC pulse generator and digital tester according to the connection diagram

Run engine at idling speed and read off RI value (indirect start of delivery) at the digital tester

If the specification is not achieved 
