Remove/install

Switch off ignition

Remove engine cover

 Installation: Ensure correct seating of the engine cover.

Remove engine air intake duct downstream of air filter

Remove left or right air filter housing

Remove left or right sound dampener on cylinder head cover

Replace the respective combustion chamber sensor (B4/34, B4/35, B4/36, B4/37, B4/38, B4/39)

 Installation:
A removed combustion chamber pressure sensor (B4/34, B4/35, B4/36, B4/37, B4/38, B4/39) must not be reused and must be replaced.
Orderly installation is not guaranteed otherwise.

Connect diagnostic system, read out fault memory and delete if necessary


