1	Remove cylinder head cover		AR01.20-D-5014E
2	Separate old timing chain (1)	 Cover over timing case recess with a clean cloth.	AR05.10-D-7601-01D

	Install
3	Draw in new timing chain (2)	 Cover over timing case recess with a clean cloth. Pay attention to location of position holes.	AR05.10-D-7601-04D
		 Crank engine in direction of rotation.
		 It is essential to remove the assembly links (7.1, 7.2, 7.3) after drawing in the new timing chain (2). They are only intended as an assembly aid and are not suitable for engine operation.

		 Inspect camshaft sprocket (3) for scores and pitting, replace according to condition.
5	Check basic position of the camshafts	if necessary	AR05.20-D-6010D

6	Install cylinder head cover		AR01.20-D-5014E
